  1. This book sounds like the life saver for our 9th child. She's having so much trouble getting math. She says math is mean to her. I've tried one method after another, still hoping to find 'the one' that will unlock her brain. Thanks so much for this opportunity.

  2. Math "allergy" ruins lives. It cuts people off from great and ordinary achievements. I know first-hand the pain of this allergy. I want to help children I know, even adults, to find math a pleasure. I can help the children of friends with this book. I can even help adults. Hey, I wasn't "cured" until I was an adult.

  3. My daughter almost flunked out of 2nd grade - math is her worst subject. At 8 years old, she told me, "I suck at math". What a horrible way to think of yourself at 8 years old! My husband (much older than 8) also has difficulty with math. I told him that if he cleared up his misunderstandings in math, maybe it would help him make more money! My family really needs this book!
    Thanks, Leslie

  4. I would love to read this book. I have known and respected Bob Toftness for a very long time, and he is a wonderful writer, teacher, etc. I am certain this book will unlock the mystery to math. I want to use this book so that I can then tutor others in math, and unlock these mysteries for them. ml, Jerrye Albert

  5. It was always a mystery how I could score well on aptitude tests--even math aptitude tests--then couldn't "connect the dots" in math classes beyond Algebra I. Two weeks into Algebra II, I thought I had walked into a graduate class in Extraterrestrial Astrophysics! The day before, I had understood it. That day, my "math IQ" dropped to 30.

I think I needed just this book.

  9. My daughter muscles her way through Algebra 1/2 and now my 4th grader is struggling with "getting it". Some of the concepts are easy for him, but then I think he's got it and a problem comes up looking different and he's lost again. I'm looking for any help!
