Insider's Guide to Finding Discounted Family Ski Lift Tickets at 50% Off - All Season

Okay, I admit it.  I'm a family-centric ski bum.  My hubbie and all of our kids, too.

This passion goes way back to my younger days.  For many years before having kids, my hubbie and I skiied most of the world's best resorts.  We still love to ski but now we do it as a family.  Especially in our home state of California where the quality and amount of snow this season has been the best in many, many years.  In fact, we've already been up to Big Bear in the San Bernardino Mountains and we have our annual week-long family ski trip planned for Mammoth Mountain in the Sierras later this month.

Here's Mini MommyBlogExpert (my daughter) reporting from Mammoth's slopes during last Winter's Vacation

With the deal that was just pitched to me by the PR rep, we'll likely be headed for Mountain High in Wrightwood, too.  We all know how expensive skiing is though -- especially when you want to hit the slopes with the entire family like we always do.  So, my goal with this blogpost is to help as many parents with kids who ski to save LOTS of money.

Mountain High, which is right off Interstate 5 about an hour north of Los Angeles, is a family-friendly resort and both those 6 and under and seniors 70 and up always ski FREE.  For kids 6-12 lift tickets are $25-$30, depending on the day of week.

The money you'll save is huge for the rest of the family.  For example, if my family of six with four teens goes up this Sunday the regular total lift ticket price for us would be $390 for 6 tickets @ $65, but with tickets from Skiforfree it would only be $294 ($49 each) -- a savings for our family of almost $100 for the day!  To save up to 50% off lift tickets for everyone over age 12 at Mountain High, all you have to do is go to skiforfree.com and use MommyBlogExpert's special promo code SLED1 .

A word of MommyBlogExpert word of advice:  Book your lift tickets in advance, because the mountain has sold out on recent days and you don't want to be disappointed.
