The International Food and Wine Festival (IFWF) only comes once a year but it's well worth the wait. In fact, I look forward to this for months because, with 250 kosher wines from around the world, this is the biggest annual kosher food and wine event on the West Coast. And once again, for the third year in a row, I'm excited for tonight's ultimate date night out with my Hubby.

I'm absolutely thrilled about the lineup for IFWF 2014 which is organized by Royal Wine Corp. of New York and Herzog Wine Cellars of Oxnard, California. This is the seventh year this wine and food conoisseur's showcase has been held and the third time it has been presented at the luxurious Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel located close to the vibrant Westside Los Angeles Jewish community. Both the public and the trade are invited to attend.

Tierra Sur, the highest Zagat rated restaurant in Ventura County, California is again serving the food. I had a sneak peek at the menu and it sounds over-the-top amazing. So if you love excellent and ecletic food and tasting lots of very good wines as much as we do, you will likely enjoy it.

This year should be particularly interested to discerning taste buds with a new gourmet chef this year, Chef Gabe Garcia, who has stitched together and orchestrated a patchwork quilt full of flavors to present a menu for the evening spotlighting Tierra Sur's iconic farm-to-table New American cuisine. The entire event, as in past years, is under the kosher supervision of the OU.
