The Big Bang Theory Season 8 Review Now on Bluray DVD from Warner Bros

Entertainment

There's another new Blu-ray and DVD on the street from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment that's worth talking about. This time it's The Big Bang Theory the Complete Eighth Season. I could not be more excited to be telling you about this new release of the hit CBS television show.

Not only is this still a very popular series going strong, my family has a personal connection to Mayim Bialik who stars as neuro biologist Amy Farrah Fowler in this hilarious comedy series. Dr. Bialik, who in real life is a mom of two and has a Ph.D in neuroscience from UCLA, taught my kids biology class when we were homeschooling them for middle school. In fact we recently bumped into Mayim at a restaurant in LA and my triplets (who just started college) were glad to see her again and say hello.

Here's my daughter Rebecca (author of Teen Tuesday) with Mayim, her former middle school biology teacher, in a photo taken just a few months ago...

The Big Bang Theory: The Complete Season 8
This American sitcom Blu-ray and DVD is the prelude to the current TBBT 9th Season which premiered on CBS TV on September 21, 2015.

Synopsis
In this home entertainment release now available on Bluray, DVD and Digital HD all the show personalities you know and love are back. Now Leonard (Johnny Galecki) is finally engaged to Penny (Kaley Cuoco) who lives across the hall in the same apartment building after he proposed to her for what seemed like forever. The comedy and drama ensue because it's unknown how this all affects the "official" roommate agreement with Sheldon (Jim Parsons). To complicate the hilarity and awkwardness still further, Sheldon finds himself in a too-close-for-comfort relationship with super geeky Amy.

In episodes throughout this season you'll also get to watch as shy Raj (Kunal Nayyar) is finally talking to and dating women and what happens when characters like Howard (Simon Helberg), Bernadette (Melissa Rauch), Stuart (Kevin Sussman) and the very loud and colorful Mrs. Wolowitz's (Carol Ann Susi) worlds collide. You will likely never see another show that mixes science and comedy with such intriguing storylines and multi-dimensional characters, nerdy but lovable personas.
