High Tech Fashion Style

These days it's hard to find many areas of our lives that have not been touched by technology. Arguably, the fashion world has seen some of the greatest innovations during the past few years, most notably in the wearable tech and accessories categories.

The Purse Case
As seen on ABC's Shark Tank, this collection of elegant smartphone clutches designed by Lori Greiner here in California, is hot and stylish. The Chanel-inspired quilted little handbag with chain link handle and metallic goldtone or silvertone hardware is primarily a smartphone case but also has some room for valuables to take wherever you go. Available for the iPhone 5/5S/5C and iPhone 6/6S in a rainbow of casual, workday and dressy colors including black, blush, dark brown, dark indigo, dark navy blue, dark olive green, gray, khaki, periwinkle, pink and turquoise. You're going to want more than one to go with different outfits because these are affordably priced at just $25-$30 each with add-on options for an attachable crossbody chain strap ($10) and a key clip addition ($3). Stelle Boombox Bag
I first saw one of Stelle's gorgeous and fun handbags for party girls (pictured at the top of this post) when I stopped by their booth at International CES several years ago. Already this brand has made its mark with their portable wireless Bluetooth speakers merging function and style and it continues to grow in popularity with women who want to add a unique techie twist to wardrobes. This season I'm absolutely loving the new Stelle futuristic Mini Clutch Speaker collection -- each comes with the speaker buttons and controls on the outside of the dainty bag with room to spare inside for ladies' essentials. Featuring a pretty chain shoulder strap, you have your choice of four elegant and happy styles ranging from Dazzling Diamond ($199) to Metallic Blue Love ($149), Metallic Purple ($149), and Metallic Pink ($149). Helsinki Bluetooth Speaker
Perfect for the ultimate party girl, I discovered this fashion statement find at the Luxury Technology Show this fall. Designed by Vifa of Copenhagen, Denmark, the Helsinki loudspeaker, which features a powerful battery and great sound, is actually disguised as a textured fabric purse so you can bring your music with you in style either in your hand or over the shoulder. Though this doesn't open up and can't serve as a functional handbag to carry things like the other brands in this post, fashion lovers who appreciate well-made modern minimalistic Scandinavian style will like this as much as I do. The Helsinki is available in four fashionable colors including willow green, misty blue, dustry rose and sandstone grey. Priced at $449 for the handbag speaker alone or for $485 with the add-on optional leather shoulder strap. Available from Vifa

  18. This is a great idea! We use our speakers all the time and what a clever way to conceal/travel with them.
