There's now another reason to look forward to Memorial Day Weekend 2017. That's because Sony Pictures Entertainment has just released the official trailer for the upcoming big screen sci-fi thriller Life, which is scheduled to blast into theaters nationwide on May 26, 2017.

Life is the fictional story of an international space station and its 6-member crew who discover the first evidence of life on the planet Mars. As the team of astronauts and scientists embarks on its work on the red planet, the crew triggers unexpected consequences when it turns out the Martian life form they've encountered is more intelligent than they expected.

The film is directed by Daniel Espinosa and stars an amazing cast lead by Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson (well known for doing her own stunts in Mission:Impossible - Rogue Nation), and Ryan Reynolds. Also among top-billed talent are Olga Dihovichnaya, Ariyon Bakare, and Hiroyuki Sanada.

Don't miss any of the excitement in the months ahead, leading up to May's premiere. Stay up to date on Life by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
