That's so epic! Whether it's on the ski slope, on the playground, at school or when they're just hanging out, that is often what you'll hear today's kids respond when they hear or see something particularly cool or awesome. So I couldn't have thought of a better title myself when naming the family animated movie Epic (that's with a capital 'E') that was such a hit in theaters. Recently this movie launched into the home entertainment space and is now available on Blu-ray Combo Pack, Deluxe Edition Blu-ray and DVD for children and families to enjoy together again and again.

Blue Sky Studios Epic is from the same creative team that brought the world the entertaining and memorable Ice Age kids film. Epic is the retelling of a fantastic adventure involving a teenage girl nature fairy and a queen who team up to save a group of curious fellows known as Leafmen from evil forces. The movie features talented voice cast members that audiences will recognize like Colin Farrell, Amanda Seyfried, Christoph Waltz, Jason Sudeikis, Steven Tyler, Pitbull, and BeyoncĂ©.

Watching this film reminded me of my family's vacation to Costa Rica recently and all the lush vegetation, rain forests and exotic bugs we saw...

In addition the various products offer an assortment of different fun elements to enhance enjoyment of the film. For example, inside every the Epic Deluxe Edition Blu-ray, you'll get 3 Epic Seed cards so you can grow your own Epic Garden.

Take a look at this exclusive clip for an example of the wonderful extra features included in the home release. This one is a peek at the thought and creativity that went into designing the fanciful forest character Queen Tara's costume dress.

Epic, from Twentieth Century Fox is rated PG, has a run time of 109 minutes and features subtitles in English, Spanish and French making it a good choice for multi-lingual families and those in homes where someone needs the support of subtitles to understand the dialog.
