Usually I write about family friendly Fox Home Entertainment for kids. This film, The Best of Me, is different because it's a new release romance drama for couples, moms, dads and significant others. Read on below to find out why this would make the perfect date nite stay-at-home movie to watch after the kids are in bed plus enter this giveaway for a chance to win this great motion picture.

This movie is based on the #1 New York Times Best Seller from celebrated author Nicholas Sparks. Simply put, it's a sweet and insightful, tender romantic drama about the timeless power of love -- how some things never change even with the passage of time. The Best of Me opens with former high school sweethearts Dawson and Amanda (James Marsden and Michelle Monaghan) meeting at a loved one's funeral 20 years after tragedy separated them. As the story progresses, their love is rekindled as they remember and relive the past and come to a deeper understanding about who they are and the life choices that have affected their lives' paths.

Also starring Luke Bracey and Liana Liberato, and featuring beautiful scenery along with music by Lady Antebellum, The Best of Me is an upbeat and romantic story of love, hope and second chances. The “Tears of Joy” Edition Blu-ray and DVD includes an all-new storyline and “Storybook” Alternate Ending so Amanda and Dawson finally get that second chance at love. Once you see this you'll probably be alternately crying and smiling like I was.
