This Weekend in Southern California
One of the most fun events MommyBlogExpert has been privileged to cover for multiple years in a row is the California Strawberry Festival. This is definitely a foodies' dream for young and old as well as a perfect outing for kids and the whole family to enjoy together. With strawberries now coming into prime season on the West Coast, the time is ripe for this family-friendly event taking place at Strawberry Meadows of College Park in Oxnard on Saturday and Sunday May 21-22.
Once again the lovable Strawberry Shortcake character returns to officially reign over Strawberryland. Worth noting is that all the non-profit food booths donate 100% of their proceeds.
Berry Best Dressed Baby Contest
Not to be missed among all the fun competitions going on like strawberry pie throwing and the Best Strawberry Hat pageant for the grownups is the Berry Best Dressed Baby Contest. Come and see the cutest little ones who will be vying for the crown. And, if you are lucky enough to have a baby now, consider enter him or her to win this contest that the media always love to cover.
Watch for More Coverage From this Year's Event
On the off chance, you can't attend this year's festivities, the always delightful Southern California mom blogger Norma Perez and her family will be covering the event again this year.
