Weekends in March Kidtoons Family Matinees presents the children's family-friendly movie The Gruffalo at select local theaters nationwide.
The Storyline
This is the sweet animated story of a mouse who goes into the dark forest where he soon encounters a fox, owl and snake. The mouse tells this trio of creatures that he's here to visit The Gruffalo, a scary and ugly beast with giant tusks and a poisonous wart on his nose. Good thing there isn't really any such thing as The Gruffalo because the mouse has made this whole character up in his little mouse mind.
