If you've got young children at your house I'm especially glad you're reading this post. That's because Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and Nest Entertainment released the family-friendly The Swan Princess Christmas on DVD for the holidays that is now available exclusively at Walmart. Since I received the opportunity to watch and review it I'd like to share my reactions with you on this enchanting children's picture. This American 2012 fantasy film -- the fourth installment in the popular The Swan Princess franchise that began in 1994 -- uses CG-animation for the first time.  It has a run time of approximately 84 minutes and is rated PG.

Christmas may be 11 months away now, but this is so charming and engaging that I think youngsters and whole families will enjoy watching this year round together. In this rendition, Princess Odette, Prince Derek and their woodland friends are back in an all-new Christmas celebration adventure. Beautifully presented, the DVD features music by Anna Graceman from TV's "America's Got Talent."
