Plastic Pollution Impacting Ocean Life

Doing Good

MBE partnered with FOUND for this post

In recognition of WORLD OCEAN MONTH which runs throughout June, FOUND Beverage Company is Reaching Out to Educate and Help Protect Ocean Mammals Through a Non-Profit Campaign.

Saving Whales & Other Sea Mammals

Did you know? With 100K pounds of plastic trash that is dumped into the ocean every 3 minutes, 100,000 marine mammals are being impacted by plastic pollution in oceans around the world.

To build awareness about this serious threat to one of our planet's most valuable resources, as well as to raise funds for Oceana (the world's largest advocacy group) to make a difference, FOUND Beverage has produced 100,000 bottles of their naturally sparkling, infused water for The 100K Initiative

The limited series bottles are available in two flavors, Elderflower, which we tried and enjoyed, and Cucumber Mint.

Each specially-designed FOUND glass bottle is numbered and represents a mammal that is negatively impacted.

These FOUND Beverage bottles are made from 100% recycled glass so they won't end up polluting the ocean. Not only that, the eco-friendly packaging is so beautiful you can easily repurpose the bottles as flower vases and reuse in other ways at home.

In addition to FOUND Beverage Company, the 100K Initiative is also supported by fashion brand, Les Girls Les Boys. LGLB, which is focused on positively changing unsustainable practices in the fashion industry, is donating proceeds from their Swim Collection through World Oceans Month.
