For a wonderful adults only night out in February in Southern California, consider this. Herzog Wine Cellars will orchestrate their 5th annual International Food & Wine Festival IFWF for one night only: Wednesday, February 15 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles.

In the past, this once-a-year food and wine tasting extravaganza has been held at Herzog's winery in Oxnard, California. This year, for the first time, the event takes place in Los Angeles and my hubbie and I are really looking forward to attending not only because this is gourmet, local and kosher but also because we love fine wine. That's on top of the delectable food that will be served during the evening prepared by uber talented Chef Todd Aarons of Tierra Sur, the highest Zagat rated restaurant in Ventura County and a personal Mommy Blog Expert favorite fine dining destination.

Prize Winning Wines Abound at Herzog Wine Cellars, Ventura County

True foodies -- especially those who are aficionados of Mediterranean-inspired cuisine -- will likely appreciate Chef Aarons' culinary artistry. I'm taking time off to enjoy my family and kids after an extremely busy month that included a hectic but productive week away from home covering the Consumer Electronics Show CES.
