Saturdays and Sundays in May, beginning this weekend, Kidtoons family matinees program presents the children's family-friendly feature movie Sid the Science Kid Backyard Campout of PBS Kids fame and produced by the world-famous The Jim Henson Company screening at select local Kidtoons theaters nationwide.
Sid the Science Kid returns in a fun film, this time with his fellow characters Gerald and dear old Dad for an awesome backyard camp out adventure. Complete with pitching tents in the yard, a BBQ dinner followed by roasted marshmallows, songs around the campfire and of course -- star gazing in the nightime sky. Can't you practically smell that camp fire right now?
Your child is invited to come along on this imaginary trip to enjoy the simplicity and appreciation of nature that only a camping experience like this can inspire via Kidtoons' May Weekend Matinee.

The news gets even better. To celebrate another month's quality family entertainment theater program Kidtoon Films is offering free tickets to Sid the Science Kid's Backyard Campout in select areas including Los Angeles and Orange County areas as well as in cities in Kansas and Missouri. There is a limit of one ticket per family. Kidtoons is also providing a set of two kid's DVDs for me to give away to one lucky Mommy Blog Expert reader.
