Doing their part to fundraise during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Bloomingdale's Give Pink Get More campaign continues now through November 3, 2013. This promotion is inspiring shoppers to contribute to breast cancer research, support and awareness programs as well as rewarding consumers for loyalty to the iconic department store lifestyle brand with giftcards.

To participate all you need to do is charge a $15 fee to your Bloomingdale's credit card. If you don't have a Bloomingdale's card already, you can still apply for one now to take advantage of this opportunity and then enroll.

Either way, 100% of the money raised from this small participation charge will be donated to research, support and awareness programs at The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, The Tutu Project benefiting The Carey Foundation and The Cancer Vixen Fund at Beth Israel Hospital.

Giving to such a noble and important cause is most definitely fashionable and a good thing to do because it will make a positive impact on everything that's being done to fight breast cancer. But, shopping the entire Bloomingdale's store -- including cosmetics and fragrances -- using your Bloomingdale's card and earning a gift card for all qualifying purchases in time for your holiday shopping is really great, too. Don't you think?

Bloomingdale's #GivePink Promotion

Give Pink Get More program participants have the opportunity to earn giftcards ranging from $25 to $250 in value, depending on much you buy.

For example, if you spend $250-$499.99 using your store card during the promotion period you will receive a $25 Bloomingdale's giftcard. The more you spend, the more your giftcard will be -- all the way up to a $250 reward card when you spend $2,500 or more.

Review Jack Hanna Emmy Award TV Show 60 Episode DVD Collection Now Available

Since I was a child I have always loved zoos and wild animal parks, both for their entertainment and educational values. Now, as a mom of four born within a year, I have passed that passion and appreciation on, raising a whole family of lovers of wild animals and nature. If there is one person who is synonymous with wild animals, animal preservation and youth education, it is Jack Hanna -- a man that has been beloved by parents and kids, at least for several generations.

Jack has been involved with animals almost his entire life, beginning at 11 years old when he got his first job cleaning cages at his family veterinarian's office. He eventually went on to become the director of the Columbus Zoo in Ohio. Later, pursuing his life-long love of wild animals and educating the public, he launched the long running nationally-syndicated TV Show Jack Hanna's Animal Adventures in 1993 and more recently, Jack Hanna's Into the Wild program.

Just released and available on DVD today, Best of Jack Hanna is a collection of 60 episodes and 22 hours of Hanna's shows over the years filmed on every continent. From Elephants of Zimbabwe to A Grizzly Encounter to Bats! and all the other episodes included, you and your child will enjoy beautiful photography, entertaining adventures and lots of learning opportunities about wild animals. The new release is a wonderful blend of shows from the original 1990s series and the newer three-time Emmy Award winning Jack Hanna's Into the Wild series -- with 30 episodes from each entertainment entity.
