During Staples celebrity-studded, roll-out event in Los Angeles taped exclusively for Celebrity Page TV (scheduled to air August 13), Staples proved it doesn't just care about customers.

Staples Gives Back to Community

Staples also has a deep community concern for teachers, especially those serving students from struggling families who can't easily afford the school items needed to succeed in the year ahead. With the brand's Katy Perry testimonial video playing on the big screen, host Megan Telles of Celebrity Page TV, actress Lori Loughlin of Full House and Fuller House, and athlete/actress/author Gabrielle Reece, were all on hand live in Los Angeles, California to make a surprise announcement. 

The big news is that Staples has earmarked more than $131,000 of  their $1 million donation to Donors Choose, a charity funding more than 700,000 classroom projects. The Staples major contribution benefits 15,500 students in classrooms at 97 local schools in L.A. this academic year. This includes funding the balance of every local arts and music program, college and career prep project, as well as middle school and high school literacy projects listed on DonorsChoose.org in L.A.
