Super Wubble Bubble Ball Giant Toy Survives the Kid Test Review + Giveaway #SuperWubble

Super Wubble Bubble Ball Survives the Kid Test
by Joan Stewart Smith

This is a sponsored post

Did I just see a gigantic bubble bouncing by?  That’s the Super Wubble Bubble Ball, a big, clear inflatable ball toy that looks just like a bubble but plays like a ball.  This creative toy is another great way to get our kids on their feet and more physically active.

Boys and girls can inflate the lightweight ball to large proportions in minutes by themselves with the included small, easy-to-use battery-operated pump. Then the fun begins. They can play with this 3-foot-wide translucent ball in so many ways: chase it, throw it, whack it, kick it, pull on it, jump on it, roll on it, or even sit on it.

I’m happy to say this “new generation” of the Wubble Ball is a big step forward in durability. Tougher than the original Wubble, the Super Wubble was reinvented with what the makers call “Xpandium,” a stronger, more stretchable material.

To add to the fun, kids can watch a cool online video series called “Super Wubble vs the World,” featuring short videos of the ball going through all kinds of quality tests. You can see the garbage truck running over it above. Plus check out the Wubble Bubble Video Channel, where there are more fun clips to see like an elephant stepping on it and tough guys dropping heavy objects like watermelons and cinder blocks on top of it.

But tell your kids not to try any of those tests at home! They can put the Super Wubble through plenty of other “kid-friendly tests” as simple as sitting on it or stamping a foot into it all the way to the ground.

Super Wubble will shrink a little in size overnight, but not to worry. It can be easily pumped back up next day. However, it can still be punctured, so remind kids to be careful around sharp objects like tree branches. Even if it pops, the toy comes with a patch kit and instructions to easily repair it, making it last even longer to extend the fun.

Where to Buy & More Information
Super Wubble comes in four colors including Go Green, Boing Blue, Power Pink and Red Rox. Available direct from the WubbleBall site as well as at Walmart, Target and Toys R Us, Super Wubble is another creative toy from NSI International Inc., which markets and makes creative toy and consumer products including the popular Magic Rocks and Smithsonian Science kits, and its own craft and activity brands. To see lots more photos as well as stay up

Whale Tissue Box Cover Kids DIY Craft

Crafts

Easy AND Fun to Make At Home or School

Here's an easy and functional craft for kids from Crayola that's perfect to create at school  while studying whales and ocean life as well as for synagogue day schools and church religious centers learning about the biblical story of Jonah and the Whale. This fun Whale Tissue Box Cover art project involves just a few basic art supplies like crayons, markers, glue and tape. plus optional art embellishment supplies like glitter, sequins, stickers, acrylic jewels, etc.

Image from Crayola

This would make a really cute and unique teacher gift, fun DIY home decor accessory for your classroom at school as well as your bathroom or child's bedroom, a thoughtful gift for Grandma or Grandpa on your next visit, or even a surprise for Daddy or Mommy to accessorize his/her desk at the office.

Perfect for a classroom art project or to make this at home with your child for some quality time together. Or, if he or she has the required skills to use scissors safely, encourage them to create their own Whale of a Great Tissue Box Cover Art Project.

How to Make this Whale Craft

  • Start with a full rectangular standard size tissue box
  • Allow kids to color construction paper using magic markers or crayons
  • Next, help them measure and cut the colored paper into strips long and high enough to completely cover each of the four sides of the box using white craft (skip covering the top and bottom of the tissue box)
  • Once the glue has dried keep decorating. Use a marker or crayon to draw the whale's  smiling mouth and eye. If desired give kids an assortment of  bling items to glue on to the sides of the box such as glitter, sequins, acrylic jewels, stickers, tiny cutouts, etc.
  • Using a whale tail cardboard template created by the teacher (see craft photo to help make this simple shape) each child will then trace and cut out two whale's tails which they'll then glue back to back. If they want to decorate the tail with glue on items, it's easiest to do it now before the last step
  • Then, using tape or more white glue, each child can attach the whale's tail behind the right side of the box so it's visible from the front, positioned as pictured

Kids will have such fun getting creative to make their whale tissue box cover a one of a kind original masterpiece. The whale idea is just the beginning. Give little ones the freedom to turn a mundane tissue box into any other kind of real or mythical animal or fish -- limited only by the childrens' imaginations.
