The stars were shining brightly in Hollywood last night, lighting up the iconic Chinese Theater even more magnificently than usual. Except for big awards shows like the Oscars and the Grammys, it's not often that so many talented A-list celebrities are walking the red carpet, sharing the limelight together.

But that's exactly what I experienced at the Mother's Day movie premiere. In this case it was Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, Shay Mitchell, Britt Robertson, Hector Elizondo, Jack Whitehall, Ella Anderson, Aasif Mandvi, Robert Pine, Director Garry Marshall, and the list of notables goes on.

How thrilling it was to be invited to the Wednesday evening premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre, previously known as the iconic Grauman's Chinese Theatre, on Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California to screen this major motion picture to be released April 29th. Right next door to the Dolby Theater (formerly Kodak Theater) at Hollywood and Highland where the Academy Awards just took place in February.

Aniston looked stunning in my personal favorite outfit of the night: the Anthony Vaccarello Spring 2016 tuxedo romper she was wearing, accented by a black clutch, stilettos and simple gold jewelry. Roberts, still looking as beautiful as she did in her breakout picture Pretty Woman (also directed by Garry Marshall) was elegantly casual in flat front white shorts, tailored white jacket and black shirt with white buttons to go along with her black manicure and matching stiletto heels. Hard to believe these two extremely fit looking women are both approaching 50: Aniston is 47 and Roberts will be 49 years old in October and is the mother of three kids.

In addition to Ella Anderson, among the youth cast members on hand were Owen Vaccaro, Caleb Brown, Brandon Spink, Grayson Russell, Ayden Bivek, Jessi Case and others. It was also cool seeing Bob Saget and John Stamos, who played father and son in the TV show Full House, walking the carpet together.

However, I would be remiss if I didn't mention that I was a bit disappointed that part of the star-studded cast was noticeably absent: Kate Hudson, Jason Sudeikis, Jennifer Garner and a few others. As busy professionals, I'm assuming they all had scheduling conflicts, but you could definitely sense their presence nevertheless. See the trailer...

This wacky new preview of the forthcoming animated motion picture reveals some key scenes from the new movie that are meant to bridge the backstory of the characters depicted in the film with the wildly-popular game.
