Toy Story (1995), A Bug's Life (1998), Finding Nemo (2003), The Incredibles (2004), Cars (2006), Ratatouille (2007), Brave (2012), Inside Out (2015), Coco (2017), Onward (2020), Luca (2021), and more. To celebrate 24 Disney Pixar feature films (including sequels) to date -- particularly the home entertainment release of the iconic animated movie maker's latest family friendly big screen movie, Luca -- the studio hosted Mommy Blog Expert's millennial review crew in New York City. The occasion was for the kick off of the Pixar Putt minature movie-themed national golf course tour with Hole #1 on the traveling mini golf attraction honoring Luca. 

Newest Pixar Movie Luca Now on Digital, Blu-ray/DVD

Now available on Digital, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD for kids to watch over and over again is Disney Pixar's Luca. 

Viewers are invited to join Luca on an imaginative coming-of-age summertime journey to Portorosso, a charming fictional seaside beach town on the Italian Riviera.

Along with Alberto, Luca and his friend experience all kinds of fun and adventures. That is, until they unexpectedly encounter the secret of sea monsters from a whole other worth beneath the water's surface. 

Kids will find out as the story unfolds what happens next and how everything turns out in the end when they watch this beautifully animated adventure comedy. It's a tale about unlikely friendship young audiences will appreciate.

Pixar Putt Miniature Golf  U.S. Road Tour

The Pixar Putt summer outdoor pop-up at 22 Battery Place in New York (open 7 days per week at this location, through October 31, 2021), is conveniently located about 4-7 minutes walk from several New York Subway Stations including stops for the 1, R, 4 and 5 Trains. Covid safety protocol at the site requires fully-vaccinated guests to wear face masks only when interacting with others outside their group. Those who are not vaccinated are required to wear masks at all times.

Each of the holes in this unique traveling mini golf activity has a different Pixar movie theme. For example, the Luca-inspired hole depicts the film's scattered cliffside houses and sea below. The golf ball's journey through the narrow houses and leading down to the faux sea and into the golf hole parallels the storyline of the movie and the boy's journey from land to sea. 

Mommy Blog Expert's New York Correspondent, Raphael Elspas, recalls the fun experience he and his 20-something foursome enjoyed last weekend here. "There were Instagrammable moments all around," he says. 

"In addition to the golf cart themed Toy Story pizza planet logo photo booth, there was fun and movie memories at every hole for us. Actually, I think our group probably spent as much time golfing and picture taking as we did reminiscing about all the unforgettable Disney Pixar films we grew up with. 

"In addition to Luca, noteworthy favorite stops along this mini golf course were inspired by movies like Finding Nemo, Soul, Up, Monsters Inc., Brave, Ratatouille and A Bugs Life. Those last two films were illustrated with massively scaled props including a giant fork as tall as I am and a carton of milk the size of a minifridge, making one feel as if you are a mouse running around a table top or a bug wandering through blades of grass," Raphael points out.

The NYC venue, located at Pier A, Battery Park in Manhattan, officially kicks off a national road tour which will bring the Pixar Putt pop-up to cities across the U.S. over the coming months. Sweet Suite 2021 Toys Classic & New

Fun, entertaining, educational and family-friendly. These are only a few of the words that begin to describe the eclectic toys and kids stuff Mommy Blog Expert discovered at Sweet Suite, an annual conference for influencers like MBE, who'd target audience is families with children. Usually Sweet Suite is hosted in New York City each July. But for past two years, due to the pandemic, this must-attend conference for mom influencers and moms who blog organized by The Toy Insider was virtual but still as exciting as ever.

Best New Toys, Fun for Kids and Family

As is always the case at this event, Sweet Suite covers the broad spectrum of fun, creativity, pretend play and STEM-related toys, from classic to brand-new, boutique start-up companies to major household brand names you'll immediately recognize. There's something to check out for every age-group: preschoolers, school age kids, tweens, and even fun things that encourage spending more quality family time together.

I can't wait to share MBE's top picks for each age group with you, so let's get started! Keep reading to learn all about the many and varied toys and games for each age group as well as fun stuff the whole extended family -- including multiple generations and grandparents -- can enjoy together.

The invitation-only Sweet Suite, traditionally held in July in New York City, is the must-attend annual biggest night of play conference for toy influencers and moms who blog. As in 2020, this summer Sweet Suite @ Home 2021 brought the playful energy to laptops in our home offices via a customized, fun and immersive experience. 

The 3D app was specially designed to give us influencers the chance to virtually visit 5o kids' brands who were exhibiting and to learn all about what's new in fun, entertaining and educational kids products to share with moms, dads and others who love toys as much as we do. Along the way, we had the opportunity to experience virtual toy demos, one-on-one meetings, and exclusive toy reveals as well as to  connect with this year's participating kids brands for future reviews and collaborations.
