The 2014 Halloween collection is bigger and better than ever, featuring a wide array of Princesses, Disney and Pixar movie characters (Frozen, Maleficent, Toy Story to name a few), Marvel super heroes (Spider-Man, Captain America and more) and Star Wars (Princess Leah and friends) -- and of course -- Mickey and Minnie Mouse costumes.

Earlier this month Disney Consumer Products hosted its Disney VIP Halloween Event at the Glendale Disney Studios campus. With the iconic Disney fountain in the background, fellow blogger Norma Perez, her daughter Sarah and I mingled with celebrity guests including Jaime Pressly (My Name is Earl), Jamie-Lynn Sigler (best known for The Sopranos), Jon Heder (Surf's Up), Constance Marie Lopez (Switched at Birth), Rowan Blanchard (Girls Meet World), Raini Rodriguez (Austin & Ally), Melissa Peterman (ABC Family), Marla Sokoloff (Whatever it Takes), Rebecca Herbst (General Hospital).

The late afternoon event began with a visit to the Disney Halloween Costume Shop, followed by a fast paced runway fashion show with this year's Disney Halloween costume collection, refreshments, E.L.F. mini makeovers, lots of fun holiday activities for the kids in attendance, and most important of all an appearance by Mickey and Minnie Mouse who posed with party guests on the red carpet.

Perhaps even upstaging the cute kids were the sweet and well-mannered dogs available for adoption who strutted their stuff on stage in darling 4-legged costumes like Winnie the Pooh, Spider-Man and Buzz Lightyear.
