Who hasn't known first-hand the frustration of finding the perfect gift to give for a birthday or other special occasion? For sure I have stressed out over this more times than I should probably admit since my family and friends know how much I love to give unforgettable presents and think it's a breeze for me to go shopping for them. Ironically, the opposite is true -- I've actually found it increasingly difficult to find those ideal gifts for the special people in my life in a world where gift cards are the norm. So I couldn't be more excited to share with you how Best Buy makes it simple and easy to not only create and manage a gift wish list but to also shop for the perfect gifts for others.

Gift Ideas

To get started, all you have to do is visit the Best Buy Gift Ideas page. Here you'll find an abundance of inspiration to easily help you find the perfect birthday gift for everyone on your list. Everything on the site is super organized with a rainbow assortment of birthday gift idea lists tailored to Him, Her, Kids and Teens.

For the tech lovers in your life there's even the Best Buy Top Tech Gifts List to point you in the right direction. Something else I really like about this free online service is you can search for gifts in different price ranges: Gifts under $25, Gifts $25-$49.99, Gifts from $50-$99.99, Gifts from $100-$249.99 and Gifts $250 & over.

I know I mentioned earlier in this post that I think gift cards are the modern day easy-way-out to gift giving. So I should clarify that gift cards don't have to be the default gift every time with so many great gift choices to inspire you. But don't get me wrong, there are going to be occasions when there could be nothing better than giving a gift card that will be truly appreciated. With that in mind it's good to know you also have the option to buy a Best Buy gift card that can be physically mailed to the recipient or you can request an e-giftcard that will be delivered instantaneously to the birthday boy or girl via email.

Wish List

To help you out with gift giving encourage your family and friends to visit Best Buy online and set up their own Birthday Gift Wish List and then share it so you can get them just what they want. And while we're on the subject, though you may always be thinking about gifting others, don't forget to create, manage and share your very own Birthday Gift Wish List with those you are close to so they'll have some hints about what you'd most like to receive.

Just think: once you've tapped into Best Buy for their great gift ideas and Wish List program, you'll never be at a loss about what to buy for everyone on your birthday shopping list.

I love Best Buy and go there often for myself. I didn't realize they had a wish list. I will tell my daughter about this because I know she has a few things that she would like to put on her list.

This is a great idea! I know that I have resorted to gift cards more than I care to because I am just stumped on what to get the recipient.
