Mophie Juice Pack Powerstation GIVEAWAY Mobile Battery Charger Review, Ends 8/8/13

Giveaway details below

As a member of the #VZWBuzz Lifestyle Bloggers team I enjoyed a hosted trip for several days of learning at Verizon Headquarters. In future posts you'll read more about that experience as well as about other things we received -- like the new Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone. For now, I'd like to tell you about the Mophie Juice Powerstation the brand gave me to test out.

Keep reading because Verizon also gave me a SECOND Mophie to give away to one lucky MommyBlogExpert reader and you can enter to win it at the bottom of this post.

Not only did the 18 of us brand ambassadors get an insider's opportunity to see and try out the latest products coming out of Verizon at this conference, we also got to meet and talk with many of the company's top executives. For sure, from the moment I set my eyes and hands on it, the Mophie Juice Pack Powerstation is among the coolest gadgets I've experienced yet. There's no other battery charger that I know of that can hold a candle to this one.

The compact and light weight sleekly-designed device is gorgeous in your choice of red or black with a shining stainless steel outer band enwrapping it. Either 500 mAh model is uber powerful, too, delivering a full 2.1 amp high output to provide an amazing quick-charge battery for your smartphone, tablet and other USB devices. Imagine a portable reserve battery that's strong enough to fully recharge my iPad 2 and my iPhone 5 on a single charge -- with power to spare. Plus it even has a 6-light invisible LED status indicator.

As I discovered by allowing my 17 year-old son to try the Black Mophie pictured in this post, this little wonder really did charge four times faster than traditional USB batteries. Unfortunately for me, my son fell in love with this product's portability and power, so he's planning on hijacking my new Mophie to take with him to college. So looks like I'm going to have to get my own to use once he leaves for school!

The Black and Red Mophie styles each sell for $79.99 and are available at VerizonWireless.com. Keep in mind, though, that if you buy the Mophie Juice Pack Red Special Edition 5% of the net profits from its sale will go to a very worth cause: the Global Fund to help eliminate AIDS.
