Working to stamp out children's hunger, Hickory Farms is again partnered with Share Our Strength (SOS). In fact, for each Party Planner gift box sold this holiday season they'll be donating $5 to the Share Our Strength No Kid Hungry Campaign, up to a total of $500,000. Additionally, consumers have the opportunity to contribute to No Kid Hungry online as well as instore at Hickory Farms Market Place locations during the holidays. To date, through this program, Hickory Farms' contribution has been signifcant reaching $1.9 million in donations even before the current holiday season began. Many hungry children's tummies have been filled as a result, no doubt enhancing the lives of little ones and their families.
In a separate program, in support of military service men and women and their families, Hickory Farms also provides free shipping to APO and FPO addresses on eight of their products. These include the brand's festive Home for the Holidays giftbasket and Beef Hearty Hickory giftbasket.
