Funky Monkey Healthy Fruit Kids Snacks

As a mom of four I know how hard it can be to get your children to come even close to eating the amounts of fruits and vegetables daily that they should. As a point of reference USDA recommends two fruit servings per day for youngsters ages 2-6 and four servings/day for older children and adults. With today's typical constantly on-the-go family lifestyle fresh fruit isn't always practical. For sure, it can be a real uphill battle with potato chips often winning out as the "vegetable" of choice for kids as young as preschoolers.
