Google Chrome Extension Saves Money When You Shop Online + $25 Amazon Giftcard Giveaway

I just discovered that there is such a thing -- a free new Google Chrome extension called Max Out Checkout that can save you lots of money not only during the current holiday shopping season, but year-round too.

As soon as I heard about this amazing deal finder I had to try it out for myself since, like many MBE readers, I'm big on frugal shopping and like to save money whenever I can. So in just a few seconds I downloaded and added the Max Out Checkout extension (powered by Verified.Codes) to my Google Chrome browser to take it for a test drive.

To experience this cool extension first hand, I visited one of my long-time favorite classic online places to shop for clothes and accessories, LandsEnd.com. The Coupon Codes and Hot Deals in the screen shot you see above automatically appeared at the top of this e-store's page as soon as I arrived. Before I even started browsing the site, this gave me instant access to a surprisingly huge number of current ways to save at Lands' End, including 7 coupon codes and 20 deals which I could choose from and click on to get the deal code. 

Once I decided what I wanted to purchase, it took less than a minute to find the correct coupon code and to type it in the discount code window at checkout. This knocked down my bill a total of $24 for the dress (regularly $99) and cardigan sweater (regularly $40) to just $55.99 total for both items after the savings, not including tax, with free shipping. 

Talk about saving money and walking away feeling happy that I found such a great deal with minimal effort.

In fact, when our four kids (a singleton followed by triplets within a year) were babies and toddlers, Hubby and I would pop tofu cubes, raw and straight out of the box, into each of our little ones mouths at dinnertime every night to supplement whatever else we were eating. Once the children started elementary school I started cooking with it as their palates sought to go beyond eating just soft, simple foods. Eversince ,I've been serving tofu cooked up in all kinds of dishes to my family which now includes a foursome of teens with always-hungry appetites.

For sure, tofu is yummy served cold all alone, because it is nutritious and provides an excellent source of low fat plant based protein. Even more tasty is tofu as an ingredient in a fresh vegetable stir fry or a sweet dessert like this novel Cake Pop recipe.
